If You’re Already Dreaming About Sweater Weather… We Need to Talk. 🍁

I know it’s still hotter than blazes here in Arkansas, but hear me out.

When it’s 100 degrees outside and walking to the mailbox feels like a survival challenge, my mind starts wandering somewhere much cooler. And lately? It’s been wandering to New England in the fall.

Picture crisp mornings, cozy sweaters, colorful little towns, and hillsides covered in every shade of red, orange, and gold. Add a luxury cruise to the mix, and you’ve got one of those trips that feels just as magical as it looks in the pictures.

I get asked all the time when the best time is to start planning a bucket-list vacation. My answer is almost always, sooner than you think.

That’s especially true for a Northeast fall foliage cruise.

These sailings happen during one of the most beautiful times of the year, and because the season is so short, they tend to fill quickly. The best itineraries, the best cabins, and the most desirable sailing dates don’t usually stick around for long.

One of the things I’m most excited about right now is the possibility of putting together a 2028 group trip to experience fall in New England together.

We’re still in the dreaming stage, booking isn’t open yet, but that’s actually what makes this the perfect time to start talking about it.

Maybe you’ve always wanted to see Vermont’s famous fall colors. Maybe you’ve dreamed of strolling through charming coastal towns in Maine, enjoying fresh lobster by the waterfront, or watching the leaves change as you sail past picturesque harbors. Or maybe you just love the idea of traveling with a fun group while someone else handles all the details.
